Mission of the position: Analyses the P&L of the business units to optimise results and achieve objectives. Performs control functions within the business units. Proposes and supports improvements in their area and other areas of the business unit thanks to their knowledge about the business unit.

Detyrat

What will you be doing? • Prepare and sign off the Statutory Accounts for the “Company”. • Maintain proper books & records of the Company in compliance with all relevant local legislation. • Follow up on changes of legislation and inform Owner on impact re current treatment so that a decision can be taken as to necessary changes to be introduced. • Ensure the Company meets its financial and legal responsibilities. Preparation and submission of corporate documents including resolutions/AGM minutes and other relevant corporate administration matters • Safeguard the assets of the Company and maintain the Fixed Assets Register. • Ensure that the financial information of the Company is accurate and timely produced, preparing all the Company reporting that could be required by GM, HO, Auditors, Board of Directors of the Company etc. • Liaise with Internal Auditors. • To watch daily the adequacy of bank balances and to report in writing as to any anticipated cash deficiency to Managing Director. • Provide ad hoc reports to Board of Directors of the Company with regards to Melia Hotel e.g. statistics, historical report analysis. • Prepare monthly reports for the Company including P&L with Owner expenses, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reforecast (including Owner transactions) to end of year.

Kualifikimet

What are we looking for? • Minimum 3 years of experience within the position in a hotel and/or resort. internationally. • Proficient use of SAP FI, Accounting and Excel. • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with management and co-workers to their understanding. Albanian language is paramount. • Ability to compute intermediate mathematical calculations. • Demonstrate a high level of problem solving, good judgment and decision-making abilities. • High initiative with a strong sense of urgency and flexibility. • To comply with Albanian legislation as required. • To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the hotel. • To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
